Heard the expression time is money? Couldn’t be closer to the truth. It is important to respect an employer’s time.
When submitting a resume, be mindful of the person reading it. Think about if you were interviewing and had a short time to fill a position, would you want to read a cluttered mess, maybe sift through hundreds of unorganized thoughts, grammatical errors, rudimentary writing that never gets to the point. What a headache!
Or would you rather read a resume that clearly shows the credentials to determine if a candidate is a great pick for an interview invite?
Yeah me too, second option.
Submitting a “Bad Resume” is unforgiving in the employment world and comes at a hefty price. If the risk is negotiable, by all means continue and get half the response you seek.
