Interviews Don’t Always Come Up Roses

Let’s face it, interviews are nerve racking and can feel like a waste of time. There are instances when the hiring manager is late, unprofessional, or questions asked during the interview aren’t the brightest as you have a separate conversation with yourself on why you decided to show up.

It would be great to be hired based on a resume alone, cutting out the rigorous interview process. A happy ending filled with rainbows and butterflies unfortunately, isn’t always going to happen in the job market. Have trust and never second guess, keep going until the best opportunity comes along.

I’ll share a brief experience, I was tired job politics and never being satisfied. So one day, I visualized a wonderful job, the pay, type of people, and culture I wanted to be a part of and soon I received exactly what I asked and it was great. Although the assignment was brief, it was the best experience because I created it. The point, don’t settle you can have what you want without sacrificing your insanity. After all, you’re worth it.
